Live Bees
Purchasing live bee packages from New Zealand has many benefits. The first is that the bees have been busy throughout the New Zealand summer, so they arrive here in Canada as full-strength colonies. You don’t need to spend spring building bee numbers up. Our live bee packages come with a mated queen and up to 3 pounds of live bees that are packed safely and ready to be placed into full-depth boxes.
Mated Queens
The honey season in Canada is short, don’t waste it breeding queens and waiting for them to take their first flight. Get your hive going with a queen that’s ready to start laying. We pride ourselves on delivering top-quality, high-performing queens. In New Zealand, we produce our queens away from Small Hive Beetles and EFB, so you can be sure they are disease free.
Disease Free
All live bee packages and mated queens are inspected upon arrival in Canada. We can guarantee that they will be AFB, EFB and Varroa Mite free. You also don’t need to worry about Small Hive Beetles.
